KOHRAC: Tools for Assessment of Participants

The tools needed to assess Participants represent the Intuitive Thinking of the Indigenous curriculum and so are new to the educational process. They will be a critical part of transitioning to a compatible system between Western-style and Indigenous-style education.

Assessments by Kupuna

The assessment of Kupunas is constant. The Kupuna is watching the Participant in every conversation and monitors every activity as the Participant moves toward transformation. Once the major transformation has taken place, the Kupuna will not need to monitor as frequently but will select key points and events for analysis. The Kupuna advises the Participant at any time of an Assessment.

Intuitive Indexes

A new method of making evaluations that has certain advantages is to use someone well trained in a system called Intuition Testing to do the assessing of the person being tested. The Intuition testing method is a way of getting a sequence of “yes” or “no” answers, not by asking questions of the person and getting their verbal or written answers. Instead, Intuition Testing is a method of accessing the experiential wisdom that is held in the body rather than in the information from mind which is highly subject to being biased.

Intuition Testing is a valuable new resource that bridges the difference between intellectual understanding and direct experience. This kind of innovation is at the heart of the IIE Model. Working with these new tools will assist in relieving anxiety over the differences represented. Just like anything else new, it takes some time but quickly becomes understandable and comfortable.

Intuition Testing for Results

This technique makes intuition something that can be used systematically and reliably. It transforms intuition from not being sure about it, to being crystal clear and eliminating doubts. The importance of learning and using of this tool is that it allows decisions to be guided by the knowing in the body rather than by our thinking which tends to be influenced by unresolved reactive emotionally energy. This testing method is taught to the Participant and they eventually perform it on themselves whenever needed. It is simply used for assessment, and is used by whomever is performing the assessment.

LIVE Experiment Evaluation by Kupuna

Distinct from the transformational discussions with the Kupuna, a LIVE Experiment Pod assignment is followed with an in-depth analysis of what the group did. The evaluation may be done as a group or with individuals, at the discretion of the Kupuna.

Fulfillment Coaching Session Assessment by Kupuna

Fulfillment Coaching is very specific. Fulfillment is taking the goal determined by the Participant and allowing it to be completed in real time. Perhaps the Participant desires to have a franchise line of restaurants. Under Fulfillment and with the grants provided, a similar or exact situation is possible. This is a very unique situation. In Western-style education, there is no assistance after graduation or rarely a program that includes it. In this model, the intent is to experience the success or failure of the Participant by the Kupuna.

The Participant is then assisted in their preparation for the Kupuna Council evaluation leading to graduation.

Pathway Block Interpretations

The Pathway Block charts give the Kupunas and others a birds-eye view of the transformational and educational process from start to finish. This is quite a different way of looking at things, but it really tells you quite a lot. Remember, if someone reaches the end of the program, they are performing at their full potential, so progress is not measured by comparing one person to the others in the group.

What is reflected in the Pathway Block Diagram is the emphasis of each type of experience and which of those experiences have most brought the Participant to their transformation. This varies greatly from individual to individual as well as from calling to calling. You can see that Participant One and Participant Two each start out with identical use of learning types and the same sessions. They begin with Quad 1 where they receive support to understand and begin the Indigenous transformation process. They have an activity completed as a group and then more Quad 1 type of learning.

Participant One now begins to deviate from Participant Two. You can see that Participant One focused very heavily on Quad 1. Most likely, this person had very little exposure to Indigenous concepts. The intense focus in that area is broken only by group activities and tasks and by at least one LIVE Experiment. Group style has proven necessary to help Participant One be able to utilize Quad 4 Kupuna type of learning. As Participant One nears implementation of their own fulfillment project, they are now as ready as Participant Two though they used different types of learning and therefore different Quad emphasis to reach this point. Participant One enters the real-world implementation preparing for a much different calling than Participant Two. That is just fine as it fits Participant One and guides them to achieve their highest potential.

Participant Two entered a LIVE Experiment aspect early one. It is apparent that they understood the Indigenous concepts and probably had exposure to the concepts in their own life. The Pathway Block also shows focus on a LIVE Experiment Pods which as a preparation for the chosen calling which needed monitored practice before entering the real-world implementation overseen by their Kupuna. Whatever calling was brought clear within Participant, it carries great responsibility and so this different path for completion.

Councils – Kupuna Presentation of Candidate

The Kupuna for the Participant is responsible for presenting the Participant to the Kupuna Council as a fully functioning member of society. Councils may also be held if there is an issue on a particular Participant or other matters related to the program.

Graduation

Graduation occurs upon the Participant reaching the full level of Indigenous enlightenment, ability to perform, balance in life as demonstrated, successful accomplishment in line with the Degree selected.

SELF-ASSESSMENT BY PARTICIPANT

The End Goal of balance for the Participant means that methods of testing their status is their own responsibility. In the end, they are responsible for their growth and the only way to know is to be able to tell for yourself. These are important skills for the Participant.

Intuition Testing

This special physical test assists in reading the harmony in the energy internally and externally. There is a lot of information held in our bodies innate wisdom for what is right and good for us and for others. Intuition testing is used on a continuous basis through the training program and through the rest of the Participant’s life. The muscles of the body are the perfectly balanced carrier to demonstrate subtle changes in energy which affect chemical balances and electrical charges in the body. Learning this one skill alone will sharpen the ability to hear connectivity.

Daily Meditation

Proper meditation can be done during any activity. This is a skill that is learned in silence and then carried into the noise of life. This is an important part of physical health.

LIVE Experiment Expectation Measurement

Each Participant has an expectation when they engage in a LIVE Experiment Pod. This measurement tracks their own expectation before they engage and assists in analyzing the exercise afterward.

Final Self-Assessment

The Final Self-Assessment is not done on paper. There will be no papers around when life is happening, after graduation and out in society. The lessons must be on the inside. The assessment takes place between the Kupuna and the Participant in a place of their choosing. Together, the Kupuna and the Participant communicate until there is an awareness and harmony.
